Invision is a short puzzle game where your vision is your main tool. Search through the crashed spaceship, while meeting with the planet's natural inhabitants. Be cautious though, they're not as harmless as they seem.
This game was made as an entry for 2019 TV Game Jam. Jam's theme was to explore the episodes of famous TV shows, and mine was Doctor Who and the Weeping Angels. Hope you like it!
I always welcome feedback! In the case of this game, I am looking mostly for gameplay and level design feedback. But you are more than welcome to comment on whatever you like!
P.S. as of right now the game doesn't have a heavy story to support it's gameplay. It was also made in just two weeks, so a few bugs and rushed decisions might be present.

V 1.0 - initial Game Jam version. Unless you're looking for Jam authenticity, you shouldn't really download this one.
V 1.1 - day-one essential patch. Bug fixes mostly. Playable, if the size of the next verison scares you.
V 1.2 - third week (voting stage) update. Added some visual effects, a few perfomance improvements, tweaked the mechanics and redesigned the last puzzle room. Also added a (subjectively) cute creature to said room. A bit heavy though, I assume because of the baked lightning.
V 1.2 HTML5 - same build as previous, but with a bit lower quality so it can run in browser. Still weights 150Mb though. So if your internet allows to play it in browser, it will probably allow to download a Win_x64 version (assuming a Windows machine). Only there for crossplatform compatability really, since I don't currently have access to Mac or Lunix. Not recommended.
V 1.2 HTML5 Download - just download the original and launch it locally, if you don't want to re-download each time from itch.

The common filenames for the program's installer are Creator.exe, i2Remove.exe, InVision.exe, inwinbatch.exe or mIRC.exe etc. Our built-in antivirus checked this download and rated it as virus free. This PC software is compatible with Windows XP/Vista/7/8 environment, 32-bit version.

The game is compressed in a ZIP archive. Unarchive it with your favourite tool and launch an .exe file. Memorex external dvd drive software. All files of the ZIP should be located in one folder, as the game requies them to run properly.

Okay, so the puzzles really really required a lot of playtesting, which obviously wans't quite possible in the format of a Game Jam.

Still, I'm happy most of puzzles could be understood. I suppose they should had clearer rules, on which a player could have made his own assumptions. Instead, you kinda had to guess the rules sometimes. In my defense, it's really hard to judge when you play it everyday and know all ins and outs.

Nah, the screen was simply this dim, if you look at my other videos you'll see they're quite bright. I'm not sure why it was so dim tho, but I still assume it was some kind of ingame setting, or perhaps the way my videocard handles your game? (I'm clueless)
The mechanics to theirselves are good, the slab puzzles, where you have to put angels on them to keep them pressed down, can become frustrating but that has nothing to do with the mechanics, it all comes down to timing and skill.
The game itself felt smooth, controls wise and the visuals are stunning.
